Take a look at the new upgrades on iOS 17 beta 2 that Apple has just launched

Recently, Apple has released the updated version of iOS 17 beta 2 and iPadOS 17 beta 2 for developers to test. Similar to other betas, this version of iOS 17 will include some important tweaks and changes that were unveiled at the WWDC earlier this month before Apple releases the official operating system update. And here are some outstanding upgrades of iOS 17 beta 2.

New software update interface

Technically, this feature is not different from the first beta version. However, the software update interface on iOS 17 beta 2 will display more information about beta software, including instructions for participating in the beta program experience and how to back up data when installing this beta software.

Tips for using the app

Most apps designed and developed by Apple will include a feature that provides detailed usage tips for that app's functions. For example, in the Messages application, there will be a tip that suggests users send messages by voice instead of typing with Siri. Or when AirDrop, your iPhone will show a suggestion to keep your phone near the recipient's phone when it can't find the person nearby.

New location settings

In the Settings section of Privacy Preferences under Location there is an option called "MicroLocation". However, Apple has not yet commented on what this feature is. Otherwise, the "App Clips" option is gone, along with the "Standby Clock Faces" waiting watch face here.

Check-in message

In the Messages section of Settings, the manufacturer has changed the wording for the data options of the Check-in feature. The options will be Full and Limited instead of Current location only and All locations visited. It is known that Limited Data is the current location and network and battery details of the device. Meanwhile, Full Data includes all limited data, plus the route traveled, the nearest location that iPhone was unlocked or Apple Watch removed.

Update Apple Music App and Add New Widget

App crashes when activating Crossfade for Apple Music has been fixed. In addition, Apple also added the ability to customize the length of Crossfade, such as a new toggle that lets you adjust the crossfade length for songs between 1 and 12 seconds. Crossfade is a feature that blends the end of one song with the beginning of another, creating a smooth transition between tracks. In addition, several new widgets for ‌Apple Music‌ are now available in various size options.

Update StandBy feature

The StandBy feature that has caused a stir in the past has also received an update in this iOS 17 beta 2 version. Users can now use the option to turn off notifications when the phone is in StandBy mode. Only messages classified as "Important" are displayed when the feature is turned off.
