Tim Cook is an American business executive who is currently the CEO of Apple Inc. He was born on November 1, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, and he joined Apple in 1998. Cook served as the Chief Operating Officer of Apple for several years before he was named CEO in August 2011, succeeding Steve Jobs.

Under Cook's leadership, Apple has continued to be one of the world's most valuable companies and has expanded its product line to include new devices such as the Apple Watch and AirPods.
